Overview

ResumeForge AI ("we", "us") provides resume optimization tools. This policy explains what information we handle and how we treat it. We designed the free MVP to minimize data collection.

Information we process

• Resume & job description text — sent to our optimize API for the duration of a request so we can return results. We do not require an account for the free tier.
• Usage counters — stored in your browser via localStorage to enforce free-tier limits (3 optimizations per 30 days).
• Technical logs — standard server logs (e.g., timestamps, error messages) may be collected for reliability and security.

What we do not do

We do not sell your personal information. We do not use your resume content for advertising. Free-tier content is not used to train public models in this MVP configuration.

Payments

If you upgrade to Pro, payment processing will be handled by Stripe. Stripe's privacy policy applies to payment data. We receive limited subscription status information needed to unlock Pro features.

Cookies & local storage

We use localStorage for free-tier usage tracking and theme preference (via next-themes). Essential cookies may be used by hosting/CDN providers.

Your choices

Clear site data in your browser to reset local usage counters and preferences. Contact us if you need help deleting account-related data once accounts are enabled.
